Product Details

This classic diesel station wagon looks as good as the day it left Europe. The 300 TD was built on the storied W123 platform, and served as the E Class from 1977 to 1985. The lines on the W123's are timeless: straight and clean with tasteful chrome. The 300 TD is proof of the Mercedes holding the Gold Standard in 1979. The legendary OM617 Diesel engine is one of the most reliable engines ever built which really makes the W123's classics on all levels. The engines are known to be nearly indestructible and can be easily converted to alternative fuels which has helped boost their already ample popularity. This 300 TD is out of Arizona before being restored at California's Mercedes Motoring. Inside and out this car is pristine. It contains its original sheet metal and original paint in classic white. The tan vinyl interior looks awesome combined zerbano wood dash trim. This car is restored to stock showroom condition, and everything works in this beauty. This car runs and drives great featuring the original OM 617 diesel engine, original automatic transmission, sunroof, power assisted 4-wheel disc brakes, 4-wheel independent suspension, air conditioning (with climate control), full spare, tool kit, first aid kit, road-side trunk reflector, and period correct pinstripe. The underneath and wheel well photographs of this car are amazing. This is an amazing, rare find to have one of these legends in this condition.
