This Mini was built by Rover in the UK as the last production model of the “True Mini”. These end of production, Rover built Mini's, retained the classic small packaging but are also upgraded with a 1275 CC inline 4 cylinder engine fed via fuel injection and managed with electronic ignition. The engines performance is transferred via a 4 speed gear box and applied by front wheel drive technology. The low mile example offered here is attractively finished in its factory color, British Racing Green exterior paint with white stripes and Classic British Flag roof decal. The car is highly optioned including: Sport Pack Set, Rally Light Package, 12 inch Mini Lite Wheels, Wood Dash, Black leather Interior, Door Pockets, Leather Shift Knob, Kenwood Stereo and Anti-theft. At just 2813 original miles, the car remains virtually new, featuring wonderful exterior original paint, excellent trim and glass throughout, the original interior is very excellent on all surfaces including a perfect dash, excellent wood, very cool gauge set, aluminum accents, etc. Mechanically, the car is spot on and spirited. This little Mini has a huge fun factor as the unassisted steering is direct and full of feedback, while the wheel-at-each corner stance and firm suspension gives it outstanding agility and handling; the familiar whine of the 4 speed gearbox and tuneful exhaust enhances the overall motoring experience. The Mini Mk Vll's by Rover are the most advanced version and the true Mini's of the UK. Built between 1998 and 2000, they encompass the same lovable character that made the original 1961 original such a smashing hit. For this reason, these cars are collectible and are considered investments. In this case, size truly does not matter. This Rover Mini is titled as a 2000.
